Commercial Disputes

Unfortunately it is a sad fact of life that disputes will occur between businesses. It is necessary to obtain financial evidence to quantify the loss that has arisen whether from, for example, the misuse of confidential information such as customer databases or a breach of contract such as the failure of a machine to achieve production capacity.

Commercial disputes can also arise following the sale or acquisition of a business, where there may be a warranty claim or a dispute in relation to completion accounts.

RSM Tenon has provided assistance in many commercial disputes, or have acted as experts for both claimants and defendants, as single joint expert, and frequently as an independent expert appointed to determine a dispute by either the parties or the president of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
