Alistair heads up the East Midlands Accounts and Audit department covering advisory and assurance services which employs nearly 100 staff. He previously worked with Robson Rhodes in their Bristol and Birmingham offices and joined the East Midlands firm in 1999 when it was part of BDO Stoy Hayward. He is a graduate of Lancaster University where he studied Operational Research.
His portfolio covers a wide range of businesses and entities including owner managed businesses, public limited companies as well as having a close involvement with educational and professional services (including legal practices) sectors. Alistair is the relationship and audit director responsible for the delivery of all services to his clients. He is an experienced adviser and coordinates multidisciplinary teams who service the clients. His aim is to become the trusted adviser to his clients.
His experience has included secondments to a client and the Serious Fraud Office, working in two firms and three different offices, working with entrepreneurial clients throughout his career and being part of a family that is very entrepreneurial.
